Utilitarianism assignment

Hi! All the instructions are included in the word documents I have posted. This short-term paper is due on Wednesday, March 11th therefore I would like to have it done on March 11th before 9 am. Once you choose a topic from the ones listed on the instruction sheet, I will send you all the pages from my class textbook regarding that topic because the only sources that can be used are from my class textbook. This is NOT a research paper and only has to be 3 to 4 pages. There are 2 files uploaded regarding the paper, one of the files is the instructions and the other file is other tips that could be considered helpful if necessary.

Write a 3-4 pp. paper on ONE of the following prompts:

You do not need to include a title page or works cited page.

Please do not use any sources outside of our text. This is a short-term paper, not a research paper.

(1) What is utilitarianism? Critically assess the plausibility of this proposal.

(2) What is the Euthyphro problem? Is there a parallel problem for the definition of art?

(3) What do you think is the best moral argument for vegetarianism? Does it work?

(4) Does freedom entail the ability to have done otherwise?

(5) What is Rawls’ conception of a just society? Is it is tenable?

(7) What, if anything, would be wrong in simply saying that anything counts as art so long as this is what was intended by the creator of the artifact in question?

(8) Can two identical objects differ in their aesthetic properties?

(9) Can one properly form one’s aesthetic judgments via testimony from aesthetic experts?

(10) What are Gettier-style counterexamples, and how do they challenge the classical account of knowledge?

(11) Is knowledge more valuable than mere true belief?

(12) Is ‘knows’ a context-sensitive term?
